After tying the knot at Laguna Montage, my beloved and I were blown away by the remarkable experience we had. The level of service and accommodation we received during our honeymoon stay was exceptional, and it genuinely felt like we were the only guests present. It was such a fantastic experience that we made a pact to visit every Montage resort. Thus far, we have had the pleasure of exploring four of their resorts, and each one has provided a customized and unforgettable experience that aligns with the quality of their brand. My wife, who is very selective about spas, adores the Montage's spa. Our children also have a soft spot for the Montage, as they are always given a complimentary gift and are catered to with utmost care. We were even pleasantly surprised when a staff member offered to sanitize and wash our kids' bibs and bottles when they saw us doing it by hand. It seems that every staff member has been trained to go above and beyond to cater to us, and we are always left feeling incredibly satisfied with our stays. We are passionate about the Montage brand and what it represents.

We celebrated my moms birthday weekend at the Montague and it could not have chosen a better spot. The rooms and location of the resort are absolutely gorgeous but it is the staff that makes this place so special. Amanda helped my mom get set up in the perfect room. All of our servers at the pools and restaurants were amazing, accommodating and so sweet, especially Ashton, Jonah, Julia and Breanna. We are already looking forward to our next day.

Lovely spot. Started with drinks overlooking the pool. Jennifer was delightful. So sweet and thoughtful...she made us feel at home. She's a keeper! Drinks were fabulous too.

It's heaven on earth! The hotel staff spares no expense to ensure customers have a flawless experience. The beach is beautiful, the suites are perfection -- especially the ones closest to the beach. The room service is timely and detail oriented. You feel like you're thousands of miles away, yet you're still in SoCal.

This was our first time staying at Montague Laguna Beach and will definitely not be our last. We had an amazing experience. The staff goes above and beyond with absolutely everything from valet, to the restaurant, front desk, the spa, pool attendants, and room attendants. Everyone here makes it their mission to provide a wonderful customer experience. We ended up extending a day because we didn’t want to leave. The grounds are well kept and you can see they take pride in all areas of the property. Their private beach is stunning and just a short walk from the rooms. I’m already looking forward to our next trip here.

What a gorgeous place. It was an amazing time here at Laguna Beach and the Montage is an incredible hotel. The food was amazing and the bar was great. The folks were very helpful. We came at a time where it was a hot streak so the building and room was hot. The air conditioners don’t work well, but 99% of the time you don’t need them due to the great weather in Laguna Beach. I highly recommend this place if you are vacationing in this area or just want to have a weekend getaway.

Olga is amazing and a superb representative for your brand!Lovely hotel with stunning views of the ocean. Gorgeous grounds and the lobby glass view of the sea is spectacular. Have a pot of tea and watch the sunset!After an initial issue I had with the room not being as quiet as I wanted, we were quickly moved to another part of the hotel that is so peaceful and quiet and we are so happy.The valets are quick and courteous, housekeeping receptive and quick to any issue, and all staff just over the top nice and accommodating!

I just go to the spa and it is the most incredible experience. Robe and sandals, refreshments, hot tub, ice plunge, steam bath, sauna, cold face towels. The pool view is unmatched and the frose is one of my favorite co*cktails! I don’t like any blended drinks but this is the one exception, it’s also nice and strong

This property is absolutely magnificent. Therefore, a default of two stars. Unfortunately they use this as a built-in model and forget about Service (and I’m pretty forgiving in this area!) If you don’t like to wait for things bags, car, food, drinks, this is not the place for you. You will spend hours waiting for anything, and every request you feel like you’re inconveniencing them! This is not based on one experience but 4 with repeated results. Also, multiple friends of ours have very similar stories. This ‘luxury’ hotel with a ‘luxury’ price needs to act like it. Look elsewhere, go for lunch or to the beach - stay somewhere else. I recommend Pelican Hill based on extremely amazing property and service! Never a bad experience.Hope this helps!

My stay at this luxury beachfront hotel was nothing short of spectacular. From the moment I arrived, I was enchanted by the breathtaking ocean views that greeted me. The hotel’s prime location, just a short walk from the beach, made it incredibly convenient to soak in the sun and enjoy the refreshing sea breeze.Speaking of luxury, this hotel truly lives up to its name. The opulent decor, plush furnishings, and modern amenities created an ambiance of indulgence and comfort. I felt pampered every moment of my stay.I’ll be back!

Stopped by for lunch and enjoyed the warmth of the facility.Adel and Jen were available for questions, Mark the bartender was receptive to furnishing the cold champaign.Colby assigned us to a terrific table on the porch with plenty of shade.The menu was complete.Kristy ensured our lunch was prepared properly and Mason served it timely. Jimmy did a great job keeping the table organized.Kenyon and Marc sent me off with a great coffee for the ride.

We spent 4 nights at the Montage. The place was wonderful, clean and relaxing pace. It was a perfect quiet vacation that we wanted. The room was clean and it smelled good. We appreciated the little things. They had a lady that came out with different animals at the pool. The day we found out about her, she had a hawk that scared away some birds. They also had live music on the pool and it was really nice. The beach was almost empty and the place feels really high end. The food was also great. The staff was kind and nice and the valet would get our cars out very fast. We never had to wait long on anything. Had a great time and will come back soon.

Beautiful. Loved the live music throughout the common areas. Concierge came through with everything. Service is top notch. Valet were efficient.. Housekeeping was mindful and thorough. Front desk was welcoming and helpful. I can't wait to come back again!

We always enjoy this property. Even if it is just for an afternoon of drinks at the outdoor bar/ restaurant. Service is always top notch as you would expect, and they have a great menu with variety! The views are always spectacular and worth it. This is definitely one of our favorites for lunch, late lunch, and "happy hour".

So, I’ve stayed a a couple of nice hotels. The Montage, upon arrival to departure was as warm as it comes. All the employees were friendly. They would stop, say hi and let you pass. They provided several waters a day??? What? They didn’t even sell $20 bottles in the room. So, dang nice! RoomCleaning catered to everything. Cleaned sun glasses, laid out slippers, chocolates book markers, Davis Allen Baker DAB played great music at night. Poolside Elias and Chloe were awesome. Nice mustache Elias👍! Great walk on the clean, in crowded beach with my woman. I’m The only damper, I was here on biz, was about thirty minutes of the private dinner the first night was spent with the group of successful businessmen griping about $50 margaritas. I was shamed into not ordering one. Seems pricey. All else spot on! Oh, the gym, forget about it! The best hotel gym except for one other and that’s a tie!

We had a beautiful day at the beach thanks to Ashton and Brody. They were very attentive to our every need and extremely personable and kind.In addition, Brianna by the big pool was amazing. It was some of the best service that we have ever had… above and beyond. Thank you.

The Menu at the Loft was great and food presentation and taste superb. The location is of course fantastic.Mostly great service with a smile ( hostess and server at the Loft). Then, we went to the lounge for desserts and coffeeHowever, the Lounge personnel needs more training. It took 30 minutes to have someone greet us and take our orders. There were 3 servers plus a bartender. The place may have had 6 tables that were full.Mostly they stayed by the bar and chatted. Lounge personnel is the most important personnel as they are the first contact inside the hotel. Just saying.

After an incredible experience staying at Montage Palmetto Bluff, we had to see what the original and flagship Montage in Laguna Beach was all about!There’s a reason this place is 4.8 stars with 5k reviews. Unbelievable service, food is spectacular, and the property upkeep is next level for a resort that’s almost 20 years old.The staff are also genuinely happy and extremely appreciative to work here.

After walking through the property today, this Montage is definitely the nicest hotel in the Orange County area. It is pristine, and the views of the Pacific Ocean are spectacular. We considered this hotel during our visit to the area, and while we were happy staying at the Park Hyatt Aviara, this property definitely has nicer views. The restaurant for lunch and gift shop were both great experiences today. This property is worth the premium.

The most wonderful Lounge bar I've been for a long time. Sophisticated, very high end. Amazing service. Atmosphere is fantastic, life piano.Highly recommend this place for a cozy and romantic evening.

UNREALISTIC refund policy. If a flight gets delayed/canceled, I am sick, or an emergency comes up ….. there is NO REFUND!!!!Me and my husband travel a lot and we have not encountered this type of inflexible policy anywhere else.What I found even worse, and which solidified the fact that I will not do business with this company is that I called and asked to speak to the manager about it (I have two ailing relatives in the state where I live and they are often rushed to the hospital and sometimes have to stay there…hence my travel plans sometimes change)The manager never called me back.In congruence with being objective: this hotel is in a beautiful location with optimal surroundings.

I was really worried and concerned about staying in such a upscale place....BUTTTTT... the staff and I mean every single one of them, has been nothing but 100% compassionate about their jobs. They are all phenomenal. They sure surprised me and if I ever had the chance, I would do it in a heartbeat. Caring, compassionate, go out of their way to go above and beyond for any guest that stay here.

Overall swing and a miss. First time actually staying at the property - been here for drinks 20 years ago or so right when it opened. All I can say is that our simple breakfast took over an hour after waiting an additional 30 minutes to be seated (only to find out that reservations would have helped this). They were unable to accommodate us on property for dinner - so they made us a reservation at a restaurant across the street. That experience is even worse as we sit here waiting 30 minutes past the reservation that was set to get seated. At these levels and this spend it needs to be handled a little better. We have spent the day touring my old favorite dives in Newport and experienced better service across the board. Rooms are meh - location is of course jaw dropping. There are plenty of five star reviews and experiences. I wish we had those moments.

Our family booked Christmas Eve dinner. The atmosphere was inviting to the holiday spirit. Our servers were polite, attentive, and accommodating to our request. Our selection of appetizers, salads, and entrees all accompanied by wine and co*cktails were delightfullypleasing to the palate. We look forward to booking our next family gathering at the Montage Laguna Beach.

We were Blessed by a lovely family to officiate a wedding celebration of Michael and Cindy Adkins. We were treated with such passion and respect. I really appreciated the turndown and cleaning service staff. They helped make your stay enjoyable. Every day, the rooms were refreshed with extra special touches that made you feel welcomed.
