We have cruised with Royal Caribbean exclusively for the last 17 years. We are currently on our 9th or 10th cruise (lost count). We are on symphony of the seas, sailed from NJ to the Bahamas. This will be most definitely our last cruise. The last time we sailed was in 2019. First the good is that the ship is absolutely beautiful, lots of activities, friendly staff, and excellent shows. We are a

We will miss you Allure. Our final cruise on the Allure before she moves to Miami began as usual with effortless embarkation and a hearty greeting from the crew. First stop, the Crown Lounge for coffee where we met ourhost. We then found our balcony cabin which was exactly, to the foot, halfway between elevators. The room was very clean and setup per RCL's excellent standards. Our room steward

Coming from someone who’s been on many RC please don’t go on Icon!!! Find a smaller nicer ship for less please hear me out.——-The Icon is way too big- grabbing a towel for ex is a 200 yard hike, elevator to room is same or more Way too crowded anywhere you go Is like a nightclub disgusting and Covid and such must be spreading like crazy/ I got it from icon/ Staff is very rude and

A bit underwhelming but good enough. Stand out's that deserve shout outs are the CD cruisin susan, the concierge Julia and the room service teams these people reminded of of sailing before it became so popular. The cost cutting can be seen and felt everywhere. The drinks were awful, the food while tasty were the smallest portions to date and the servers/bartenders were stretched way to thin.

We booked a balcony, got the lowest level room with a porthole. Room smells like a combination of body odor and smoke, toilet rarely flushes, sometimes it will, sometimes 10 minutes later, and sometimes it is hours later.. drying our hair the second night set off alarms in our rooms for with security coming letting us know her body back was on. We have lots of business cards, time wasted in line

If you want to feel like cattle being herded and like standing in lines then this is your cruise. Royal Carribeans model is pack them in and see how much we can get out of them once they are on. I mean $17 co*cktail with a mandatory 22% tip with an additional tip line? Give me a break. Then you have all the drink package people who are desperately trying to get their moneys worth and vomiting

We have been on 31 cruises on different cruise lines. First time on Royal Caribbean. First the good. The ship is beautiful (Wonder of the Seas) that’s it. The rest of the cruise experience was subpar at best. The food was average in all areas. The shows were lacking and you have to pay for most. The spa is small and not worth the expense. The private island was extremely expensive if you want to

Background InformationThis was my 1st Royal Caribbean cruise and my husband's 2nd (32nd overall for me, 33rd overall for my husband) - he'd previously sailed Freedom of the Seas in 2022. Friends of ours wanted us to sail with them to celebrate their 20th wedding anniversary, and they had previously sailed with RC. Originally, we looked at booking Icon of the Seas but the insane inaugural

We are seventy and this is our first cruise on Royal Caribbean even though we have been cruising for 15 years once or twice each year. We normally cruise on carnival and though we would try something different so we booked icon of the seas. We are in our seventies and booked a balcony room not knowing there was inside balconies as we normally have a ocean side balcony so we can sit outside relax
