We will miss you Allure. Our final cruise on the Allure before she moves to Miami began as usual with effortless embarkation and a hearty greeting from the crew. First stop, the Crown Lounge for coffee where we met ourhost. We then found our balcony cabin which was exactly, to the foot, halfway between elevators. We did not enjoy this ship. We have this same itinerary and ship booked for next year and we are cancelling that cruise. I would rather lose the $200 we have put down as a deposit than go on this ship again.The public areas of this ship are still quite pretty. A bit underwhelming but good enough. Stand out's that deserve shout outs are the CD cruisin susan, the concierge Julia and the room service teams these people reminded of of sailing before it became so popular. The cost cutting can be seen and felt everywhere. The drinks were awful, the food while tasty were the smallest portions to date and the servers/bartenders were stretched way to thin.

We booked a balcony, got the lowest level room with a porthole. Room smells like a combination of body odor and smoke, toilet rarely flushes, sometimes it will, sometimes 10 minutes later, and sometimes it is hours later.. drying our hair the second night set off alarms in our rooms for with security coming letting us know her body back was on. We have lots of business cards, time wasted in line

Older, but nice ship. Very dirty windows, never cleaned. Terrible for Alaska trip! MDR good, Windjammer not good. Park cafe excellent and very nice for early morning coffee. Gluten free options extremely limited, hard to find. Never labeled. Staff were helpful, but still terrible for an 8 year old! Ultra spacious ocean view cabin nice, guiet, but no outlets by bed. They should be renamed the Royal Covid, friends were on this ship 2 weeks ago and got Covid, our group recently got Covid. The ship smelled like raw sewage and the food was sub par. If you want to feel like cattle being herded and like standing in lines then this is your cruise. Royal Carribeans model is pack them in and see how much we can get out of them once they are on. I mean $17 co*cktail with a mandatory 22% tip with an additional tip line? Give me a break. Then you have all the drink package people who are desperately trying to get their moneys worth and vomiting
